Help Me Understand is a series that I’m starting where I give you the opportunity to ask me about a Salesforce topic that you like to understand better and I will do my best to aggregate the information and present it back in digestible manner, right here on this platform.

If you have a particular Salesforce subject that you need help with, visit the ‘Help Me Understand’ tab on this site and submit the tutorial request form.

It’s always great when we ask these questions because in most cases you are not the only one that is questioning. I can totally relate that it’s not always easy to ask for help, especially if you feel you are the only one that needs it. I actually had the idea to start a learning community quite some time ago based on my own experience when I was learning how to code in a fast paced coding boot camp.

There were many questions to ask but not enough people were asking due to feeling alone with their thoughts. It wasn’t long before I realized this when I opened up to my fellow students about the struggles I was facing and in response they also opened up to me and shared that they were facing the same struggle. This conversation changed my experience for the remainder of the bootcamp and I developed an internal network of sharing information.

As a kinaesthetic learner, it’s very important for me to truely understand information rather trying to memorize it. Because of this nature I found myself enjoying creating comedic presentations to help myself and fellow students understand difficult programming concepts. To this day I still occasionally draft such content for myself and others. I grew to appreciate the importance of encouraging others to ask questions and for sharing nuggets of information and so by creating the ‘Help Me Understand’ series and answering questions right here on the platform I intend to create a thriving community where we learn (by understanding, of course!) and grow together.

Im really excited to be working on this series and I look forward to receiving your requests. I am currently planning and designing content for a recent request received and excited to start recording it. To receive notifications when each episode is released subscribe to this blog in the sidebar on the right.

Are you ready to start your journey of learning by understanding and not by memorization?
